A Poem

Another wet morning.

The sun did make an appearance, albeit a brief one. Ever the optimist, I was out with all my gardening paraphernalia, ready to conquer the wilderness that is my garden..... when it started to rain again!!

Oh! I'm back doing some mundane housework like cleaning the drawers, when, lo and behold, I found an old poem written by my daughter to me.
Elsa has been quite a prolific writer, producing everything from stories to lyrics and poems, and anything in between, ever since she was 6 years old.

A Poem

I'm sorry if I made you mad,
'Cos right now, I'm feelin' bad
I feel glum, and so are you
But I know what I can do.............

I could hire a spaceship in space,
and we could have a race.
I could ask for a garden for you
with plenty of birds and flowers, too!

And if you still feel un-funny,
when I grow up, I'll give you money.

But I know one thing for certain......

If you STILL feel a bit poorly,
all I could say is............
