We've been staying at the Novotel Hotel right smack in the heart of The Hague city for the past 8 days. Our journey north took us first to a small, beautiful, albeit uneventful German town called Dötlingen where we stayed for a night.
The next day we found ourselves in Lübeck, a town with great many restored brick Gothic architectural heritage. Lübeck's historic city centre became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
From Lübeck, we headed towards Puttgarden for a 45 minutes ferry-ride to Rødbyhavn. From there on, we're well on our way to Copenhagen, where our destiny awaits...
