The Other Side...

Florence is divided into two by the mighty Arno river.
The bulk of Florence, including most of the tourist sights, lies north of the river, with the Oltrarno (Across the Arno), an old artisans' working-class neighbourhood, hemmed in between the Arno and the hills on the south side.
