Wedding and Weeding

It was a beautiful day to be married....

The nation rejoiced... erm, maybe half the nation plus the odd thousands of tourists... the marriage of Kate and Wills... After seeing her wedding gown and giving my long and detailed two-cents about it to my long-suffering MrD, we headed to our favourite garden centre for some retail therapy.

Between MrD and meself, we managed to achieve quite a bit of work in the garden...

The narcissus needed dead-heading to allow the bulbs to double-up for a more showy next spring blooms.

For our edible garden ....

replaced dead plants and weed with some trailing geraniums...

Impatiens on the bedding and assorted plants (lobelias, petunias, campanulas) in the trough

And finally, the pond gets its share of attention... perhaps, some fishes in the future.
