A Fond Farewell


It's our last chance to be around Pak Chaq before he leaves Aberdeen tomorrow.
Pak Chaq, as he's fondly known by us all will be going home to Malaysia after spending six months here.

We first met Pak Chaq and his family at a carpet exhibition cum sales in a local hotel on a cold month of March... come to think of it, every month is a cold month here in Aberdeen... please don't get me started with the weather again!!
Anyways, long story short, we became like family from there on.

Menu for the dinner includes

Spicy Beef Rendang Kassim - recipe all the way from Tokyo, courtesy of my gorgeous cuz, Salwa
Butternut Squash in Coconut Gravy ( Masak Lemak Labu)
Baked Chicken in Hoisin Sauce
Spicy Baked Salmon in Banana Leaf parcels
Stir-fry Broccolini with Chilli Bean paste
Mixed Fruits Achar

 For desserts, we had assortments of fruits
and some wicked desserts; Bubur Pulut Hitam and Pandan Chiffon Cake,
specially made by my baby-sista, Yatie.
