Linguine with Prawns








Linguine with Prawns

200g linguine
15g butter
200g raw peeled and deveined tiger prawns
1 garlic clove , finely chopped
1 tsp chilli flakes
zest and juice from 1 lemon
handful of flatleaf parsley , roughly chopped
salt and pepper, to taste


Cook the linguine according to pack instructions.

Meanwhile, heat the butter in a frying pan. When it starts to sizzle, add the prawns and fry for 1 minute until they start to change colour. Add the garlic, chilli flakes and lemon zest and sizzle for 1 minute more.
Add a splash of the pasta water, and bring to the boil. Season with salt and pepper and lemon juice, then stir in the chopped parsley.
Add the drained linguine and toss through the prawns. Serve immediately.
