Weather Bomb

Woke up this morning and found this....

Scotland was battered by a hurricane-force winds of up to 165mph last night.
The gusts were among the strongest in the country for the last 10 years.

In our area, the wind when up to nearly 100mph, ripping slates off our roofs and tearing down the wooden fences in our garden.
Poor Mr Froggy, my handcrafted clay ornament, was broken to pieces and our heavy teak garden furniture and metal garden set were not spared either.

There was also disruption at Aberdeen Airport, with many flights cancelled. Fortunately, MrD decided to take an earlier flight home from Dubai thus avoiding any delays.
