Angus

We've been having cold and wet weather lately.
So, I was really  looking forward to spend my Sunday outdoor, as the weather report predicted a dry and mild day.

Woke up to a cold and frosty morning... at least the sun was shining

The ground was frozen so gardening was out of question.
So, MrD suggested we head to one of the many National Trust's garden down south

Along the way, the weather turned for the worst; high winds and flurries relented; we decided to turn back and stopped for lunch in a small Angus town of Brechin

In Brechin, we chance upon this visitor centre specialising on the history of the Pictish tribe

Tea and cakes at the House of Dun Tearoom

Another chance finding was a weaver shop where you can buy weaving products such as linen tablecloths, napkins , placemats among others.
Beautiful but a bit pricey as they're all handwoven by one of the very few weavers left in Scotland.
