Spring Luncheon

and a belated Gawai celebration

Ka Chang Ma
Gaye made this famous dish from Sarawak; a soupy herbal chicken curry
Way back then, when we were living in Miri, I was thoroughly disappointed when I first tried this dish as I was expecting a potful of beans with chicken as kachang in Malaysian language means beans.
But, having tried it, I have to say it has an interesting taste and texture which I find intriguing

Fyi, those are not pavlovas but little meringue nest... similar but not the same.
Meringues can be made many days in advance and store well.
