The Highlands Road Trip - an overview

Scenes from the car...

Some of the breathtaking views taken from the car (anything to amuse meself while MrD was driving).
We were very much reminded of a similar road trip we took a few years back driving across the Canadian Rockies 'tho the roads here were not as harrowing

that's Mr Ben Nevis right there (seen from Fort William) looking all majestic and proud

Loch Leven

Sumthin' sumthin' mountain range... at this point I couldn't be bothered with map-reading no more

so, yeah... looked like we were tailing this white MPV for quite a while...

Thought we'd do a pit-stop.
Seemed like a good idea at the time, it's a fairly warm day,
and it's nice to be able to take in the fresh air...

That was until we were swarmed by the infamous highland midges, the scourge of Scottish summer,
and they particularly find me delicious.
But, hey, what's not to love; get in line will ya!

Orchy Waterfalls

I can't understand why Donald Trump hates them. But then again, I would like anything he hates.
