It's the start of a week-long Autumn break for Elsa and we're off for a bit of r&r, but only after we have to attend to a rather important appointment in London.
After dropping off Lolita at the nearby cattery, we began our journey southward towards London.
We decided to break our journey at a small town in the Peak district.
Our hotel rooms overlooked a small courtyard with a water fountain...
the trickling sound of the water kept me awake all night like one of those annoying drippy-droppy sound from a leaky faucet
plus the soft bed and the lumpy pillows were not helping the matter either
We woke up the next morning with a crick on our neck!
Bright and early, with the sun shining all the way to London.
Wonder how the weather is like in Aberdeen...
All in all, the journey took us nearly 11 hours, with several necessary pitstops along the way.
