Oh, did I mentioned that Elsa is on a one-week break from school.
That's a joke!
There's no spring to break.
Anyhalabalahoo, she requested for a pizza extravaganza girlie-day.
She decided that she needed a lesson in pizza making, the mammaMuna way.
If you're into crispy, thin dough, here's how you do it
If not, look away now...
For the dough, you'll need
450g plain flour
1 tsp salt
300ml tepid water
1 tsp sugar
1 sachet (7g) instant yeast
In a measuring cup, combine water with yeast and sugar and leave it for a few minutes until it begins to foam.
In a large bowl, combine flour with salt.
Pour the yeast mixture to the flour and work the flour and liquid together until it becomes a coherent mass.
Turn dough out into a lightly floured work surface and knead for 10 minutes until dough becomes smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into four equal parts.
Roll each piece into a ball on the palm of your hand until it is sealed underneath.
Cover them with a damp cloth and allow them to rest for 10 - 20 minutes.
When dough balls have rested and are soft to touch but not too springy,
they are ready to stretched and spread into pizza trays.
Spread tomato/passata sauce evenly over the base and sprinkle the top with grated cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes in a 240C oven.
