Obviously, Morocco was the best one there (based on 100% unbiased opinion).
It was a fantastic trip overall! The conference was set in a school in Leiden, and all the students there were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and since many of them had experience in previous MUN conferences (unlike me), they were patient with us and helped us figure out what was going on.
I got to take part in the Special Conference, where we discussed the use of drones, cyber warfare, and weather manipulation amongst other topics - it was pretty challenging to understand but we managed to get the hang of it by the end of the three days.
There were some amazing public speakers who could go up on the podium with barely any notes, before delivering a flawless impromptu speech in their stand for or against a resolution. Of course, I have a looooooooong (long, long, long) way to go before being as confident as that, but I definitely feel like this year's MUN to Leiden really helped with the progress! Plus, it was lovely meeting so many new people from schools around the world, such as Switzerland or Paris, and it really tested our teamwork.
Malawi, Greece, Uganda and Morocco representatives
This would definitely be a trip I'd want to repeat again - I'll make sure of it!
