Another late post... about 2 weeks and 2 days late, to be really pedantic about the whole thing :)
We found this little cafe totally by accident while on our way to the garden centre.
It was during one of those really foggy mornings we had a couple of weeks back. The heavy fog made driving through the winding back road awful. Plus, the fact that we were getting hungry didn't make the whole situation all too pleasant.
Okay, back to the little cafe...
This is how it looks on the outside.
Just how I like it, small (some say bijoux) and rural-ish
Love its quirky interior!
You may choose to have your meal in one of these intimate and cosy little booths
Some of the lovely ceramic art made by the proprietress
We decided on panini with a side of pickled vegetables and crisps.
What's great about this cafe is that you can tweak the food on offer in the menu to your liking.
The cafe also serves an amazing range of specialty coffees and teas.
And for dessert, you are never short of anything to eat; the cakes are to die for!!
Super-friendly and very welcoming proprietress, Emma, with freshly baked scones (or soda bread... it's been 2 weeks, I forget!)
