ChocoMalt Cookies

ChocoMalt Cookies

1 3/4 cups self-raising flour
1 cup Horlicks Light
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
160g butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup skimmed milk
2 cups Maltesers, coarsely chopped
2 cups unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 180C
Sift together flour, Horlicks, cocoa, baking powder and salt set aside.

Beat the butter and sugar together on medium speed for 3 minutes, until very smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating for a minute after each one.
Beat in the vanilla.
Reduce mixer to low add 1/2 of the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour in the milk and mix.
Add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well.
By hand, mix in Maltesers and chopped chocolate.
Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls and bake for 10 - 13 minutes.
