Baked Chicken with Maple and Paprika

An easy oven baked chicken for supper

 Baked Chicken with Maple and Paprika

1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp olive oil
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 lemon, thinly sliced

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, maple syrup and oil.
Coat the chicken with the mixture.
Leave to marinade for at least 2 hours in the fridge, or preferably overnight.
To bake, preheat the oven to 180C
Place the chicken on a sheet pan with a slice of lemon on each piece.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
Let the chicken rest for 3 -5 minutes before serving.
